Cake Decorator

This location requires you to be at least 18 years of age As a Cake Decorator at Holiday Market, you will play a key role in producing visually stunning, high-quality cakes and desserts while supporting the daily operations of our fast‑paced bakery department. This position focuses on precision, creativity, and efficiency to ensure every product meets our standards for excellence and customer satisfaction. Holiday Market is seeking entry‑level cake decorators with at least 1–2 years of experience. This is a high‑production environment where attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. We are currently hiring both full‑time and part‑time team members. Key Responsibilities Decorate cakes and desserts according to customer specifications and Holiday Market standards Assist with daily bakery production including baking, filling, icing, packaging, and labeling Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace and display cases Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders Provide excellent customer service, including handling custom cake orders and answering product questions Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are strictly followed Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet production goals in a fast‑paced environment Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in cake decorating or a similar role in a bakery environment Must have completed or be currently enrolled in a culinary arts program or have equivalent hands‑on bakery experience Ability to read and follow recipes accurately Strong attention to detail and creativity in cake design Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple orders efficiently ServSafe certification preferred but not required (must follow all health and safety guidelines) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (8+ hours) Availability to work weekends and holidays, which are the busiest times at Holiday Market Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications and discussed during the interview. #J-18808-Ljbffr Workstream
