We're seeking an experienced Powder Coater in Kansas City, KS to join QPS in a stable, associate-to-hire opportunity with great hours, a convenient location, and strong benefits upon hire. This role is ideal for someone with a solid work history, a sharp eye for quality, and a positive, team-focused attitude who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality finishes in a production environment.

Powder Coat Operator Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Assist with loading and unloading production parts to support efficient workflow
• Properly position parts to ensure optimal coverage and quality during the powder coating process
• Load and unload parts with attention to detail to maintain product integrity
• Perform initial quality inspections on all parts before and after coating
• Follow established procedures for handling and documenting rejected or questionable materials
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Cross-train and assist in other areas of the production line as needed

Powder Coat Operator Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant on-the-job experience preferred

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required

- Powder coating experience is beneficial, but not required

- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred

- Ability to follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
