This role is in an acute care setting, offering a dynamic work environment where you will conduct postoperative assessments and manage recovery protocols. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of PACU experience and be adept at managing ventilation.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

• Conduct postoperative assessments and monitor recovery in the PACU.
• Provide pain management and implement recovery protocols.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care instructions, medications, and follow-up appointments.

Requirements of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience.
• Experience with managing a vent.
