Salary: $79,300 - 147,600 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM field with 2 years of relevant experience, or a masters degree in a STEM field with no prior relevant experience for Level 2 consideration
• Bachelors degree in a STEM field with 5 years of relevant experience, or a masters degree in a STEM field with 3 years of relevant experience for Level 3 consideration
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Direct experience with requirements and interface management
• Familiarity with system-level documentation such as Interface Control Documents, system/subsystem specifications, and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRM)
• Experience using systems engineering tools such as IBM Rational DOORS
• Familiarity with model-based engineering and model-based systems engineering concepts and tools
• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance
• Preferred: masters degree in Systems Engineering
• Preferred: understanding of Agile (SCRUM) methods and activities
• Preferred: hands-on experience with MBSE tools, with MagicDraw and/or Cameo preferred
• Preferred: experience delivering technical presentations and working with customers
• Preferred: knowledge of Navy programs from a design and operational perspective

• Develop requirements, integrate systems, and perform verification and validation, along with cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses
• Convert customer and product needs into complete system solutions while accounting for technical, schedule, and cost limits
• Conduct functional, timeline, trade study, requirements allocation, and interface definition analyses to translate needs into hardware and software specifications
• Create and maintain system- and subsystem-level specifications in DOORS, including VCRMs and traceability from requirements to test plans, procedures, and results
• Update system drawings and technical documents such as Interface Control Documents and arrangement drawings
• Participate in, lead, and coordinate preparation, execution, and closeout for internal and external reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR, and TRR
• Support the development and refinement of model-based systems engineering outputs such as behavioral models, use cases, and state machines
• Manage multiple assignments at once and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Apply strategic judgment, sound decision-making, and strong oral and written communication skills

This is a 100% onsite role supporting the rapid growth of our Launcher Hardware team, where we help engineer innovative launcher hardware for weapons systems across a variety of Navy platforms. Relocation assistance may be available, travel is expected at about 10% of the time, and this position may be filled at either level 2 or level 3 depending on qualifications.
