To support effective communication, the contracted Chinese Mandarin Consecutive Interpreter will provide interpretation services during phone calls and meetings, ensuring clarity and understanding in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Provide consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, and interviews Listen to the speaker in the source language and accurately convey the message in the target language Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the interpretation process Required qualifications Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English For non-native Mandarin speakers, HSK Level 5 or 6 certification is required Proof of English language proficiency with a "Technical Proficiency" rating under the national ILR scale or equivalent Completion of a Mock Call assessment with a passing score Technical infrastructure including a headset, stable internet connection, and laptop
