As a Software Engineer - I on the Open Distribution team, you will contribute to the development and evolution of 0-to-1 systems that power millions of ticket transactions. You’ll leverage AI-driven tooling, agents, and automation to accelerate and simplify integrations, enabling our platform to scale rapidly using LLMs and tools such as OpenAI and Claude models. Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – Century City, CA What You’ll Do: AI Tooling and Infrastructure Use AI-assisted development tools including Claude and other GenAI technologies to support debugging, learning, documentation, and developer productivity. New Feature Development Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes in backend services that support partner inventory ingestion, synchronization, and marketplace publishing. Learn and apply distributed systems concepts, including event‑driven architectures, APIs, and data processing pipelines. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, pairing sessions, and team collaboration. Contribute to improving partner-facing APIs, error handling, and internal tooling. Learn how to diagnose production issues using logging, monitoring, and observability tools. Basic experience building or consuming APIs and experience working with LLM frameworks and AI Platforms such as Anthropic or ChatGPT either in school or on side projects. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
