Cleaning & Aquarium Maintenance Assistant

Location: Chandler, AZ
Compensation: $18–$20/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: 3 days, weekdays, 10hr shifts to start 

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaning & Aquarium Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and is interested in learning specialized aquarium cleaning and maintenance skills.

No previous aquarium experience is required. The right candidate will receive hands-on training and have the opportunity to develop new skills, take on additional responsibilities, and grow with the company long term.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain glass and acrylic aquarium surfaces, including algae removal
• Perform general cleaning and detailed aquarium maintenance
• Assist with room cleaning and preparation following aquarium moves or installations
• Learn techniques for cleaning, maintaining, and removing/minimizing scratches from acrylic surfaces
• Assist with aquarium moves and other hands-on maintenance tasks
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow established procedures for cleaning, materials, and equipment
• Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and to company standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, detailing, maintenance, aquarium care, or another hands-on environment is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Dependable, responsible, and punctual
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
• Interested in learning new skills and growing with a small, expanding company
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Training & Growth

The selected candidate will receive hands-on training during an initial training period and learn specialized aquarium cleaning and acrylic maintenance techniques.
