# Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN or Surgical Tech – Virginia**Start Date:** August 31, 2026 **Location:** Reston, Virginia **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Primarily weekdays with weekend and night coverage as needed; on-call required (approximately four 12-hour shifts per 8-week schedule); shift assignments include scrub, circulator, or support roles across 18 operating rooms**Highlights:** - Level 2 trauma center with diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics (general, total joint, spine), neurosurgery, general surgery, GYN, urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures- High-acuity case mix featuring spinal fusions, total joint replacements, orthopedic trauma, and advanced DaVinci Robot procedures (prostatectomy, colectomy, gastric bypass)- Meditech EMR system utilized facility-wide- Professional development opportunities with service line experts and comprehensive support team- Scrubs and attire provided by facility- May include occasional floating to OB OR as needed**Requirements:** - Active RN license or Surgical Technologist certification aligned with state and federal regulations- Current BLS certification- Level 2 trauma experience or higher (required – candidates without this experience will not be considered)- Experience across multiple surgical specialties, particularly orthopedics and related procedures- Expert-level spine and orthopedic skills strongly preferred- Strong team player with collaborative approach to patient care**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity Level 2 trauma environment where you'll expand your skills across a wide range of complex surgical procedures and cutting-edge robotic technology.
