Our unit is dedicated to supporting the maternal-infant dyad, fostering strong biological, psychological, and social bonds that promote holistic health and well-being.

We specialize in managing complex obstetric cases and emergencies with a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring safe and personalized care for every patient. Our team collaborates closely with our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide seamless support for newborns requiring advanced care, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• PCT performs patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN. Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN.

• Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients.

• Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.

• Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service.

Qualifications

License(s)/Certification(s):

• CNA certification required

• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.

Other:

• Must be 18 years old or older

• Level 3 Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently , and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
