About the lab:

• Comprehensive pathology services company.
• Provides for hundreds of hospitals and physicians.
• CAP accredited

Responsibilities:

• Examine slides to detect cellular abnormalities and potential signs of disease.
• Record data and ensure proper documentation for accurate and efficient record-keeping.
• Communicate information/issues to the supervisor/manager to ensure smooth laboratory operations and address concerns.
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Assist and maintain QA/QC programs and monitors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Must perform within productivity expectations as outlined in current departmental guidelines to ensure timely analysis and reporting.

Job Requirements


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or a related field.
• ASCP certification or equivalent
• Experience in Cytotechnology
• Strong knowledge of cellular anatomy, pathology, and diagnostic techniques.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and computer systems for data entry and analysis.
• Ability to perform detailed analysis while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.
