Position Name:  Clinical Therapist
Type: Full Time/Permanent - Direct Hire
Location: Marysville, Ohio
Available Shifts: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Salary range: $50,000–$83,500 annually, depending on licensure and experience

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Clinical Therapists to join a growing healthcare team in Marysville, Ohio. This role focuses on providing mental health and substance use disorder treatment to individuals seeking recovery and improved well-being.

Services include outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, psychiatric services, and medication-assisted treatment.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals overcome addiction and mental health challenges, develop healthy coping strategies, and build meaningful connections within their communities.

Entry-level and newly licensed counselors are encouraged to apply , provided they meet the applicable education and licensing requirements.

Salary and Compensation

Annual salary is based on professional licensure and experience.

• $50,000–$57,500: LCDC II / LCDC III
• $60,000–$67,500: Bachelor's degree + LSW
• $65,000–$72,500: LPC, master's degree + LSW, LICDC, or LICDC-CS
• $70,000–$80,000: LISW or LPCC
• $75,000–$83,500: LPCC-S or LISW-S

Sign-On Bonus

Total sign-on bonus of $5,000:

• $2,500 after completing 6 months of employment.
• $2,500 after completing 1 year of employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention services within the scope of licensure and approved clinical privileges.
• Develop and maintain treatment plans, crisis and safety plans, progress notes, transition plans, and discharge documentation.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with regulatory, billing, accreditation, and quality standards.
• Support clinical program development and implementation as assigned.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, applicable mental health laws, and professional licensing requirements.
• Identify community resources and provide appropriate referrals to support clients' recovery.
• Coordinate case management and Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) services when medically necessary.
• Help clients address barriers related to housing, finances, employment, education, life skills, and social support.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community service providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Respond to community professionals within 24 hours of contact.
• Encourage positive community involvement, healthy relationships, and the development of natural support systems.
• Apply person-centered, strength-based, and culturally sensitive approaches to treatment.
• Encourage clients to develop and implement a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent experience where accepted by the employer and applicable licensing requirements.
• Active Ohio license in an applicable category, such as:
• • Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II or III (LCDC II / LCDC III)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
  • Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
  • Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC)
• Valid Ohio driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a BCI background check, corporate compliance screenings, and pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong communication, documentation, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• A compassionate approach to working with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.

Experience: No specific minimum number of years is stated. Entry-level and newer counselors are welcome if they meet the applicable licensing and qualification requirements.
