Transportation Logistics Customer Service Associate
Location: Springdale, AR
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Worksite: 100% Onsite
Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM for the first 3+ weeks
We are seeking a Transportation Logistics Customer Service Associate with 1–3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, freight, or related operations.
The ideal candidate will support day-to-day transportation activities by coordinating with carriers, drivers, customers, sales teams, and internal supply chain partners to help ensure shipments and deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate dispatch, shipments, pickups, deliveries, and carrier activities .
- Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams .
- Monitor and track shipments throughout the transportation process.
- Resolve delivery delays, scheduling issues, and other transportation-related problems.
- Manage a high volume of emails and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Use Transportation Management Systems (TMS), dispatch platforms, and scheduling systems to support daily operations.
- Maintain accurate shipment and transportation records.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and carriers.
- Coordinate with sales and supply chain teams to address transportation needs.
- Assist with identifying solutions to operational issues and maintaining smooth delivery operations.
- 1–3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, freight, or related operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel .
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent transportation/logistics experience.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) .
- Experience with dispatch or load-tracking systems.
- Experience coordinating with carriers and drivers.
- Knowledge of freight and transportation operations.
- Previous experience in logistics customer service or transportation coordination.
