Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Supervise PTAs and support staff. Bill within the setting following facility guidelines. Comply with state therapeutic board rules and regulations. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care. Understand and utilize adaptive equipment. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient condition. Use medical center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of clinical experience; new graduates encouraged. BLS certification. State-specific licensing. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Physical stamina: ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods. Other Information Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
