Job Summary:
This position encompasses an RN (Registered Nurse) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in the Saint Louis, Missouri area. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and immediate postpartum patients in a high-acuity hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The RN will work night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum 2 years of recent inpatient, acute care hospital experience in Labor and Delivery; experience in a team-based high acuity environment, comfortable with caring for 2 patients, good problem-solving skills, fetal monitoring, obstetric emergencies and rapid response, independently managing laboring patients including high risk, excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) training, and affiliated with the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
• Additional Information: The role involves working with diverse obstetric cases, including high-risk pregnancies, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care throughout the labor and birth process.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Certifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN); Certifications in BLS, NRP, EFM training, and AWHONN FHM preferred.
