CT Technologist

Assists radiologists in performing CT imaging procedures. Selects proper protocol to obtain optimal images and provides clinical documentation per scope of practice. Performs with a high degree of safety and quality and prevents or reduces harm through knowledge and application of policies, procedures, and protocols using safety behaviors. Responsible for the preparation of equipment, instrumentation, and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care. Follows ALARA principles according to policy. Understands and adheres to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards. Reports on variances. Coordinates patient care and performs effective assessment, actions, and documentation. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and materials to ensure non-interruption of services. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
