Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment in California. The role involves providing comprehensive outpatient primary care services to a diverse patient population, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, including a one-hour lunch break. Practice Info Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only) Patients per day: 20 Staffing Mix: Physician will be assigned a Medical Assistant, with one Nurse Practitioner and one Pediatrician on site Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients across the lifespan. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. Perform preventative care, annual wellness visits, and routine health screenings. Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up care. Coordinate care with specialists, ancillary services, and community resources as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR. Collaborate with clinic staff to support quality patient outcomes and continuity of care. Manage a wide range of cases including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, asthma, COPD, acute upper respiratory infections, flu, minor injuries, women's health, and geriatric care. This role does not involve procedures.
