divh2Job Title/h2pCrane Operator/ph3Qualification Highlights/h3pMust have current National Commission for the certification of crane operators (NCCCO) credentials for the appropriate type of crane and current Crane Operator physical./ppMust have 5+ years experience as a Crane Operator./ppMust possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below)./ppMust be able to meet all physical requirements./ppMust have a valid drivers license and meet motor vehicle records check./ppMust have all required tools./ppMust have reliable transportation./ph3Position Responsibilities/h3pWill operate various construction Cranes to move equipment and other materials./ppPlan operational lifts./ppWill inspect equipment./ppWill be responsible for all safety aspects of operating the equipment./ppMay follow signal directions from a signaler in equipment operations./ppWill access area of operations for safety issues and required processes and planning of equipment operations./ph3Required Qualifications/h3pMust have experience and knowledge of operating various small and large hydraulic cranes which may include but are not limited to: Manitowoc 2250, 16000, 4100, Link belt 218, Kobelco 2500, and rough terrain (RT) cranes ranging from 15T to 140T./ppMust have basic mechanical knowledge and illustrate the abilities to inspect equipment./ppMust be able to illustrate load planning and lift planning./ppMust hold a current NCCCO LBC and NCCCO TLL certification./ppMust have up to date Crane Operator physical./ppMust know all proper hand signals./ppMust be willing to assist in other duties while not operating a crane./ppMust be able to follow instructions correctly./ppMust be reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing administrative processes such as but not limited to equipment inspection paperwork./ppMust be willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations./ppMust be able to make it to work on time and work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with the proper notification./ph3Preferred Additional Qualification/h3pCurrent Zachry or Zachry ROFed employee./ppFormer experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc./ppExperience in all listed cranes above./ppFormal/Technical education./ph3Reporting To:/h3pThis position does not have any direct reports./ph3Physical Requirements/h3pEmployees will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting./ppWill talk and hear to communicate./ppWill use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls and tools./ppMay be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs./ppWill work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements./ppMust be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE./ppWill be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots./ph3Required Tools/h3pRaincoat/ppRain Boots/ppZACHRY provides a Safe and Drug-Free work environment and is an Equal Opportunity Employer./p/div
