Customer Service Representative

Employment Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Skills: Typing of 40+wpm

Personnel Test Score of 20 or above

Hours: 7:30 to 4:00 Monday through Friday (Full Time)

Overtime (as department needs require)

Environmental Considerations: Work is performed in an office setting with normal temperature and environmental

variations.

Physical Requirements: Sitting all day. Schedule may include periods of high stress and candidate must be able to handle responsibilities with little supervision. Employee must be able to make sound business decisions. Above average attendance is a must.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service by assisting customers with order placement, tracking shipments, resolving delivery issues, and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Provide customers with estimated shipment and delivery dates.

• Track and monitor customer orders from placement through delivery.

• Communicate order status updates and resolve shipping concerns.

• Coordinate reshipments and replacements when orders are lost, damaged, or incorrect.

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails, phone calls, and other inquiries.

• Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation.

• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions while maintaining a positive customer experience.

• Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous customer service or order processing experience preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
