A Diesel Technician is responsible for providing service, maintenance, visual inspection, and removal of parts and attachments. Installation with the help of proper manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.

 

· Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks

 

· Maintain and repair highly intricate and powerful machinery

 

· Maintain basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems

 

· Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions using tools.

 

· You are expected to complete minor and major repairs independently, complete diagnostics, and other related maintenance tasks assigned to you.

  • Lubricate moving parts and drive repaired vehicle to verify conformance to specifications.

· Keep records of repairs and maintenance work done daily

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with drivers and management to increase overall satisfaction. Reports to upper management NOT the drivers
