Project Scheduler

Description

Join our dedicated team as a P6 Scheduler, where you will partner with key department, project, and program stakeholders to develop and implement controls measures to better manage project financials, mitigating financial losses. You'll also develop measures to optimize project cost planning analysis, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, managing data, financial performance, accounting protocols, and system integrations.

These are hybrid roles that may require up to 3 days a week in-office as well as in-person interviews. Candidates must be local to the Sacramento and Bay Areas of California. We also have an office in Portland, OR that local candidates can be considered for as well.

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for transmission and substation projects using Primavera P6 , ensuring alignment with key milestones and deliverables.

• Collaborate across teams -including project management, engineering, construction, and program leadership-to validate schedule accuracy and drive alignment with strategic goals.

• Perform critical path analysis, resource loading, and forecasting to proactively identify risks and optimize timelines.

• Monitor project progress , flag potential delays, and lead the development of recovery plans to keep projects on track.

• Support change control processes , assess schedule impacts from scope changes, and ensure compliance with client-specific scheduling standards and reporting protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience scheduling complex projects in the utility industry or similar.

• Experience using Primavera P6 and Unifier is required to manage schedules, budgets, and workflows with precision.

• Demonstrated success developing and maintaining schedules for large-scale, complex projects with project management.

This role is designated as remote, giving you the flexibility to primarily work from home while staying actively connected to your team and projects. Benefits & Salary:

• This position pays between $90,000 to $120,000 annually and is an exempt position.

• Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.

• Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.

• May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
