Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Surgical Services RNs

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 available for Registered Nurses with over 2 years of experience in Acute Care. Eligibility criteria and payout details will be discussed during the interview.

Compensation: Hourly rates range from $36.00 to $49.16, translating to gross earnings of $432.00 to $589.92 for a 12-hour shift (before taxes and deductions; overtime will be compensated as per applicable laws).

Shift Details: 12-hour shifts available, primarily during the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, patient-focused perioperative care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care throughout the surgical process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Administer perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to any clinical changes.
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise and assist OR Technicians and other support staff.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and unit projects.
  • Facilitate efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality care.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a current and valid state RN License.
  • Hold a current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain it.
  • Obtain a current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and keep it updated.
  • Acquire a current PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain it.
  • Have at least one year of prior perioperative experience or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • CNOR Certification (AORN) is preferred.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
