The Warehouse Runner delivers grocery orders on foot within designated New York City neighborhoods, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This physically intensive role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, handling packages safely, and using handheld technology to support efficient operations and communication.

• Deliver grocery orders on foot within specific New York City areas, ensuring accurate and timely service.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service at every delivery, representing the company’s values and culture.
• Pick and pack grocery orders in the warehouse using RF scanners and other scanning tools to ensure order accuracy.
• Use smartphone applications and scanning tools to receive assignments, communicate with the team, and confirm deliveries.
• Navigate city routes efficiently using knowledge of New York City streets and digital navigation tools.
• Lift, carry, and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs safely and consistently throughout the shift.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining a high level of performance and safety.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time independently to meet delivery windows and operational goals.
• Collaborate with warehouse and office teams to support smooth, end-to-end order processing and delivery.
• Complete required training and apply learned procedures, safety guidelines, and operational standards.
• Demonstrate and uphold the company’s values and culture in day-to-day interactions with customers and colleagues.

• Experience with warehouse picking and packing processes.
• Proficiency using RF scanners and other scanning tools for order fulfillment.
• Previous experience in customer service and delivery roles.
• Physical endurance with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts as needed.
• Clear communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with smartphone operations for communication, navigation, and task management.
• Knowledge of New York City streets and routes to support efficient deliveries.
• Willingness to complete all required training and follow established procedures.

• General labor experience in a warehouse, logistics, or foodservice environment.
• Comfort working in a physically demanding, fast-paced role.

This role centers on an outdoor, fast-paced delivery environment where you walk city routes to deliver groceries in all weather conditions. You spend a significant portion of your time on your feet, lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs, and moving between the warehouse and customer locations. You use smartphones, RF scanners, and other scanning tools as part of your daily work to manage orders and communication. While much of the role is independent and route-based, you remain closely connected to a collaborative in-office and warehouse culture that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bronx, NY.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
