Job Description

Job Summary: The Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray) performs high-quality imaging procedures in both computed tomography and radiography, ensuring patient safety and comfort while delivering diagnostic images for interpretation. The role requires effective communication and proficiency across multiple modalities to support clinical needs.

Responsibilities:

Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images according to protocol and patient-specific needs.
Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring understanding and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, adhering to clinical guidelines and safety standards.
Collaborate with licensed practitioners to deliver precise imaging results and address technical concerns.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols, including proper use of radiation badges and safety procedures.
Float within scope to different units as needed, providing flexibility to meet staffing demands.

Qualifications:

Registered in Radiography (ARRT R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT C), or equivalent credentials.
Hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
Possess at least 2 years of clinical imaging experience, with proficiency in trauma, pediatrics, orthopedic exams, and Siemens equipment preferred.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to explain procedures effectively to diverse patient populations.
Maintain compliance with radiation safety and agency-specific badge requirements.
South Carolina RN license preferred; pending applications considered.
