This role involves providing specialized patient care in a 36-bed ICU setting, with a focus on neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical patients. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of adapting to a dynamic clinical environment. Job Details Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Illinois nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of strong ICU experience with EPIC charting proficiency. Preferred Qualifications: None specified. Float: Float rotation may be required as needed. Additional Information: The ICU has 36 beds, divided into neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical units. Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:2 or 2-3, depending on patient acuity. Orientation begins on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a total of 6 hours of paid orientation prior to start date.
