Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Provide critical care nursing to COVID-19 and general ICU patients in a Level II Trauma Center. Deliver comprehensive patient management, including ventilator support and invasive procedures, while ensuring compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced critical care interventions including ventilator management and hemodynamic support.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and promptly address changes in condition.
• Perform invasive procedures such as intubations, ventriculostomy drain management, and cardioversions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Practice proper donning and doffing of PPE, maintaining infection control protocols.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech’s EBCD system and communicate effectively during hand-offs.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active license as a Registered Nurse with ICU experience.
• Possess ACLS and BLS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management and critical care drips.
• Exhibit excellent assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to care for COVID-19 patients with positive attitude and flexibility.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and adapt to floating policies.
