Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Sun City, AZ. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management. Trading from the Southwest: Trade US markets from your local time — the NYSE opens at 7:30am Mountain and closes mid-afternoon. The Southwest combines low cost of living, strong tech-sector growth, and Mountain Time alignment — the NYSE opens at 7:30am local, giving you an early start and a long afternoon. This is not a challenge account. Not a demo evaluation. We provide structured capital allocation for traders who want a professional path to scaling capital. What you will do: Trade equities and options within defined risk parameters Follow a structured, rules-based risk management approach Build consistency and scale capital based on performance Why options: Options allow traders to define risk, hedge exposures, and structure trades beyond simple directional stock positions. Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach. What we offer: Firm capital allocation — trade our money, not yours Profit split of 65% to 90% based on performance tier Performance-based capital scaling, with no upper cap Professional training and mentorship from active traders Fully remote work — trade from anywhere with reliable internet Monthly ACH payouts on the 1st of each month No challenge accounts, no evaluations, no monthly subscription fees Compensation: This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Compensation is a profit-split on trading performance, with no base salary. Top-tier traders earn 90% of their net trading profits.
