Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized oncology nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions. Ensure safe and effective treatment administration while maintaining compliance with industry standards and facility protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments following established safety guidelines.
• Monitor patient responses during and after infusions, promptly addressing any adverse reactions.
• Document all clinical care activities accurately in patient records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and facility-specific policies regarding infusion services.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license valid in the practice state.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of chemotherapy infusion experience.
• Possess current ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certificate.
• Maintain AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification.
• Have recent oncology nursing experience in a radiation therapy department (preferred).
• Be able to provide requested documentation including RTO, birthdate, and social security number.
