ROLE SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Technician I supports the production of chemical and biological reagents used in research, diagnostics, or commercial applications. This entry-level role focuses on executing routine manufacturing tasks under supervision while following established procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


* Perform routine reagent manufacturing tasks following SOPs and batch records
* Prepare standard buffers, solutions, and simple formulations
* Operate basic lab equipment (balances, pH meters, stir plates)
* Complete batch records and accurately
* Review batch records and documentation for accuracy and compliance
* Maintain clean and organized work areas
* Escalate issues, deviations, or errors to senior staff
* Label, package, and store finished products according to specifications
* Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
* Support cleaning, setup, and material handling activities


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


* High School Diploma/GED
* 0-1 years experience with batch manufacturing or continuous processing


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures
* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE requirements
* Familiarity with safety protocols, and regulatory standards


* Basic lab math and solution preparation skills
