Design & Sales Specialist

Position: Design & Sales Professional

Location: Bryn Mawr, PA

We are a privately owned flooring dealer that has succsessfully been in operation for more than 45 years! We proudly offer top-quality flooring products and expert installation. Curently, we are looking to hire a Design & Sales Specialist for ourshowroom. This person will enjoy presenting beautiful prodcuts customers and assist in their selecting the right product for their project. The ideal person will have a positive and pleasant personality and attitude as our team has fun and we're proud of our company culture. Here are the details:


Experience & Background:


- 2+ years of retail or showroom sales experience, ideally in flooring, home improvement, furniture, service, or another big-ticket/design-related category


- Comfortable with a consultative sales process (product selection, quoting, etc.)


- Familiarity with CRM/quoting software is a plus (we use RFMS )

Skills & Traits:


- Strong relationship-builder who can guide customers through a considered purchase without being pushy


- Detail-oriented with quotes, orders, and follow-up; flooring sales involves measurements, material calculations, and scheduling, so accuracy matters


- Self-motivated and comfortable working on commission


- Good communicator who can coordinate with installation and operations teams to keep projects on track


- Professional, customer-first demeanor; someone who represents the showroom well in person and on the phone


- Able to work any day of the week, 5 day work week and weekends are needed.


Nice to Haves:


- Design background with an eye for color/material coordination


- Existing relationships with local contractors, designers, or builders


- Flooring experience

Compensation:


Base + commission and spiffs
