As our Area Sales Manager, you'll help drive the retail execution and distributor relationships that propel Magic Mind from $50M toward $250M in revenue. This is a hands-on, field-first role that blends relationship-building with sharp commercial thinking. You'll own your territory, grow velocity at key accounts, and execute the retail programs that turn shelf presence into real sales momentum.

This position focuses on impact in the field built on the back of amazing relationships. Magic Mind’s fast-turning product is distributed through a range of stores including Publix, Whole Foods, Target, The Fresh Market, Sprouts and independent retailers. The role requires prioritizing time to focus on the highest-impact areas, working with and inspiring DSD partners and third-party sales resources to deliver results greater than the sum of their parts — opening new doors while also building on existing high velocities in the market.

• Deliver monthly volume and distribution goals and achieve overall objectives in the market.
• Support partnerships with distributors, brokers, merchandisers, and retailers.
• Conduct weekly “route rides” with our DSD, broker, and merchandising partners. Focus on pinpointing opportunities for underperforming accounts and routes.
• Monitor inventory and proper use of P.O.S. material. Follow through on all commitments made to distributors, sales personnel, and the trade.
• Assist our Field Execution Manager in distributor management meetings by providing well-documented reports on the levels of distribution, display, and sales by the distributor.
• Execute incentive/marketing programs intended to guide distributor organizations in achieving sales objectives.
• Gain additional placement within accounts - including secondary points of purchase, closing voids, expansion of facings, and cooler placement, barrel coolers, and displays.
• Execution of new chain resets/ item launches as well as retail programs within your respective territory.
• Store Visits: 40-50 store visits per week.

• 2-5 years of field sales experience in CPG, ideally in beverage, wellness, or functional food — bonus if you've been part of a brand scaling from eight figures to nine
• Proven track record of hitting volume and distribution targets in a territory role
• Existing relationships with natural and conventional retail buyers and DSD distributors in your market is a plus!
• Comfortable with syndicated data — you can read a SPINS report, spot the story, and bring a recommendation to a buyer
• High ownership mentality — you treat your territory like it's your business, you flag problems early, and you find solutions before you surface issues
• Strong communicator and presenter — you can sell Magic Mind's story to a skeptical buyer and inspire a distributor team at a morning ride-along
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast pace; scrappy enough to operate without a big team behind you
• Proficiency in CRM tools, and syndicated data platforms
