Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) | Boston, Massachusetts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality radiologic imaging procedures, including general x-ray and specialized scans, following physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and use of safe radiation practices to obtain optimal images
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and treating patients
• Process and evaluate diagnostic images for clarity and completeness, making adjustments as necessary
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards
• Educate patients about procedures, providing support and ensuring comfort throughout the exam
• Document imaging procedures accurately in patient records and facility systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions to technical staff

Required Qualifications:

• Active registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Valid state license or eligibility to practice in Massachusetts
• Previous experience in a hospital or medical imaging center preferred
• Proficiency in x-ray imaging equipment, digital technology, and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS)
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
