Become a caregiver with Comfort Keepers!Caregiver job requirements:Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable vehicleMinimum high school diploma or GED requiredPCA, HHA, or CNA license or 6 months of professional caregiver experience (preferred but not required)Open availability a plus!Submit to criminal background investigation, motor vehicle driving record and pre-employment drug screeningCaregiver job responsibilities:Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homesEstablish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their familiesHelp seniors with daily tasks such as light housekeeping and organizationAccompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visitsOrganize transportation, ambulation and transfersEncourage activity and movementInspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments and hobbiesMaintain a trusting and comforting environment in the homeComfort Keepers is strongly considering candidates with experience as a CNA, home care aide, personal care aide/assistant, or similar positions.Serving the Citrus Heights, Folsom, Roseville and Sacramento -metro area.
