Order Management Specialist

Process and track purchase orders from the time an order is received through ship confirmation. Communicate professionally and effectively both internally and externally. Maintain accurate records and reports. Duties and Responsibilities: Receives purchase orders from retail accounts via EDI and email(non-EDI); verify accuracy of pricing, inventory availability and on-time-ship requirements. Liaise with Sales, Product Development and Inventory teams to address the challenges presented by off-price and liquidation business. Ensure account-specific compliance requirements are met. Communicate, coordinate and follow up with shipping facilities, brokers and third-party transportation companies to ensure shipments are received, routed and shipped on time. Communicate purchase order out-of-stock issues and any ship-window adjustments to sales and/or customers. Review and monitor the Open Order Report to ensure all purchase orders ship as scheduled. Maintain accurate records and reports for Sales and Operations departments. Perform other duties shared by the Order Management Team as needed/assigned. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong Customer Advocacy skills and communication. Know how to keep a customer engaged while troubleshooting any issue they may be experiencing. 1-2 years prior experience with order processing, preferably with close out, off price and value-channel accounts. Professional verbal and written communication skills, to include engagement with others in a business setting (in person meetings or video conference). Extraordinary ability to organize, prioritize, follow-up and meet deadlines. Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and cross functional collaboration. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to identify issues, trouble shoot and fix or report up to appropriate management for assistance. Strong knowledge of MS Outlook. Basic Excel skills including: Basic X-Lookup, basic calculations, basic Pivot Table Creating simple customer reports. Data Management: Ability to sort, filter, and use conditional formatting to highlight report data. Familiarity with Sage 500 & EDI a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist and turn. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator. Work environment is indoors, majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.

SALARY RANGE:

The base range for this position is $23/hr - $27/hr.
