Key Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, especially in 5th grade
• Strong background in addressing reading, math, and executive functioning needs
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to implement individualized and small group instruction
• Familiarity with IEPs and progress monitoring
• Professional, flexible, and organized approach

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to a group of approximately 12 students in small group settings
• Address individual learning differences in reading, mathematics, and executive functioning
• Coordinate closely with the regular education team to design and implement effective strategies
• Conduct ongoing assessment and adjust instruction as needed to meet student goals
• Maintain clear documentation of student progress and communicate regularly with families and staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students’ educational planning
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
