Industrial Automation Controls Engineer

Priax Corporation is a small diversified electrical and electronic engineering firm and manufacturer located in San Diego with associate offices in Orange County and New Jersey. Role Description There are multiple positions available. This is a full-time, on-site role for an Industrial Automation Controls Engineer located in San Diego, CA. The Industrial Automation Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems, including process control and robotics. Daily tasks will involve troubleshooting automation systems, collaborating on control systems design, and ensuring electrical systems function efficiently. The engineer will also work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize automation processes and ensure operational excellence. Qualifications Proficiency in Process Control and Control Systems Design. Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Strong proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC hardware and programming. Experience with Modicon PLC systems Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr PRIAX CORPORATION
