Shift: Mixed | 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Schedule: Full-Time; rotating weekends
Local Candidates Required: No (Relocation considered on a case-by-case basis)

Pay Rate

• Salary Range: $30.60 – $35.82 (5 years) – $40.10 (10 years) – $45.90/hr (17+ years of experience)

• Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr for Nights

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (valid through 9/25)

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or recognized Multi-State Compact license

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

• 1+ year of Acute Care ER RN experience required

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of hire

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 30 days of hire

• Strong clinical assessment, triage, patient advocacy, and emergency intervention skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver direct, patient-centered emergency nursing care utilizing evidence-based clinical models (Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage)

• Conduct rapid triage and regular pain assessments, administering appropriate interventions and ongoing reassessments

• Execute clinical procedures, emergency medications, and diagnostic monitoring per physician orders

• Document all care assessments, interventions, and clinical responses promptly and thoroughly in the electronic medical record

• Provide thorough, compassionate patient and family education regarding medical diagnoses, acute treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions

• Educate patients and caregivers on post-discharge management, including lifestyle modifications and follow-up care

• Collaborate seamlessly with emergency physicians, mid-level providers, and cross-functional hospital teams to optimize departmental throughput and clinical outcomes

• Facility Size: 140+ Beds (Accredited Primary Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, Disease-Specific Certification in Sepsis)

• Department Setting: 24-hour full-service Emergency Department

• Care Model: Collaborative, multidisciplinary emergency medicine setting focusing on high clinical quality and patient experience excellence
