The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Manages the compilation of information on the capabilities of company products; directs the investigation of the technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment, the analyses of customer problems, and collaboration in designing systems to satisfy customer needs. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in a STEM or related technical field of study8+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment5+ years of experience developing and deploying manufacturing technology solutionsDemonstrated experience as a technical leader, coordinating across multiple teams and projectsDemonstrated ability to communicate successfully across all levels of an organization from entry level to executive Vice PresidentsDesired SkillsStrong technical background with advanced knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and associated materials & processes.Advanced project management experience.Excellent communication, presentation, and consulting skillsStrong ability to influence executive leadership and technical teamsExtensive knowledge of the project lifecycle and technology maturation processesDirect experience with each facet of technology system development from early maturation to full deployment and sustainmentExperience formulating strategy and roadmaps to support funding captureDeep understanding of commonly used funding types (IRAD, NBF, CRAD, etc.) and appropriate applicabilityDemonstrated ability to assess risk and perform root cause corrective action Experience across a wide array of technology focus areas including metrology, automation, robotics, machining, fabrication and assemblyProven ability to identify, recommend, and drive increases in organizational execution efficiencyDeep knowledge and use of analytical approaches or methodologies to solve technical challengesStrong project management skillset Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
