Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide diagnostic imaging services by performing X-ray procedures independently in various clinical settings. Ensure high-quality images are obtained efficiently and safely for accurate diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Carestream imaging equipment to capture clear and precise radiographic images.
• Perform ER and inpatient exams accurately, following established protocols.
• Work independently, managing assigned shifts including every 4th weekend, with minimal supervision during midnight hours.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Adhere to all regulatory and license requirements, including ARRT and NYS licensure.
• Document procedures accurately within the EPIC system.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid ARRT certification and NYS license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience performing radiographic exams independently.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Carestream imaging systems.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Maintain knowledge of safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
