Learn more at We are seeking a Lead Pharmacist to support our Uniontown, PA pharmacy location. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care while supporting pharmacy operations and workflow efficiency. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance in all aspects of pharmacy operations, including medication review, patient profile management, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Candidates must be licensed in Pennsylvania. Main Responsibilities Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, including drug selection, dosage, and potential interactions Lead and oversee a team of Pharmacy Technicians, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure efficient daily operations and workflow Maintain accurate patient profiles, including medical history, lab data, and concurrent medications Ensure appropriate lab monitoring for high-risk conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team as needed Maintain all required documentation in compliance with federal, state, and company policies Report medication-related errors to the Pharmacist in Charge Support day-to-day pharmacy operations, workflow, and quality assurance initiatives Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical preparation and practices Active Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of pharmacist experience, long-term care experience preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and clinical judgment Ability to work collaboratively across teams and locations Proficiency in pharmacy systems and software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Key Traits for Success Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality Adaptable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-focused environment Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with pharmacy staff and internal teams Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Reliable and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership over work Team-oriented with a willingness to support operational needs as they arise Proactive in identifying and escalating workflow, order, or process-related issues Able to maintain composure and accuracy under pressure Schedule This is a full time, onsite positionbased out of our Uniontown, PAlocation.
