Urgent Care Physician - Florida - Multiple Locations - Locum Tenes

Specialty: Urgent Care
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; minimum 6 shifts/month

Board-Certified Physicians for Urgent Care coverage throughout Florida.

Locations

Tallahassee - Thomasville Rd.

Tallahassee - Lake Ella

Crawfordville

Mahan

Buck Lake

Requirements

Board Certified only; Board Eligible not accepted.

Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty.

Active unrestricted FL medical license and FL DEA.

Current BLS; ACLS preferred.

Recent Urgent Care/clinic experience within last year.

Independent sole-provider capability; ages 2+; 3-4 patients/hour.

At least 6 shifts/month.

Compact licenses not accepted.

Required Skills

Suturing.

Incision & Drainage.

Digital blocks.

Pelvic exams.

Independently read chest and extremity X-rays without overread.

Review labs and personally contact patients with positive results.

Schedule

12-hour shifts.

Arrive 15 minutes early and remain until all patients are treated.

Accept patients until closing.

Last check-in 8:00 PM
