Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift role at a Level 1 trauma and primary stroke center, requiring 6+ months of acute care CT experience and ARRT (R) certification.

Details

• 750-bed hospital functioning as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
• CT department performs an average of 130 scans per day
• Staffing includes a lead tech plus three day shift techs, a split shift tech, and one night shift tech
• Equipment includes four GE CT scanners (64 slice and above), PACS, and FUJI Synapse
• EMR system used is Meditech
• Typical procedures include CTA chest, neck, and abdomen studies, CTA cardiac studies as part of a Structural Heart program, and CT Head stroke protocol
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care CT Tech experience
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
• Active KS license required, if applicable
• GE scanner experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred

• Works closely with other departments in a fast-paced trauma and stroke center environment
• Candidates should be dependable, prompt, and collaborative team players
• Black scrubs required for dress code, not provided by facility
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
