Travel RN Med Surg - Night Shift

Location: Decatur, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN Med Surg to join our team on the 4th and 5th floors of a busy medical facility. The role requires providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patient care on the Med Surg units.
• Utilize telemetry equipment and perform necessary medical procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform assessments and provide treatments as per established protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding health care plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with Telemetry and Med Surg experience.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Preferred experience in cardiac recognition and IV starts.
