Radiology - Nuclear Medicine

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a 6-week assignment. The successful candidate will operate advanced nuclear medicine equipment and perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures in a hospital setting. Responsibilities Perform general, cardiac, and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Administer sentinel node injections, DATScan, Hida scans, gastric emptying studies, VQ scans, thyroid uptake tests, bone scans, and more. Utilize the GE NM 850 Dual Head SPECT/CT Scanner and other advanced imaging technologies. Collaborate with a team of registered nurses and technologists. Maintain accurate patient records in the Meditech Health Information System. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must be a Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) and/or ARRT(N). Must hold a valid MRT license from the Texas Medical Board. BLS certification from an HCA approved vendor. Experience with GE Scanners, Xeleris Post Processing, and GE Centricity PACS preferred. Excellent venipuncture skills and good computer skills are essential.
