Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) Walnut Creek, CA

Location: Walnut Creek, CA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 32 hours per week.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) with strong experience in endoscopic procedures. The ideal candidate should have the ability to perform basic colonoscopies and esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGDs), as well as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

Responsibilities:

• Assist in endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and EGD.
• Perform ERCP and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Manage patient care pre, intra, and post-procedure.
• Collaborate with medical staff for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Endoscopy RN.
• Current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred.
• Travel nursing experience is a plus.
