About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: LTAC ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years ICU License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - ICU Experience - LTAC experience preferred Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse to work in a Long-Term Acute Care Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include managing complex medical needs and assisting with treatments. Experience with critical care procedures such as arterial line management and central line care is essential. Knowledge of various patient conditions, including ARDS, CHF, and respiratory failure, is required. The nurse will participate in interdisciplinary support with physical therapy and respiratory services. Adaptability to float to other units as needed is necessary. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. The nurse will utilize EPIC for charting purposes. Candidates must possess strong skills in infection prevention and monitoring vital signs. This role involves a commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with health care regulations.
