Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Establish and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with patients to create a safe and open environment for therapy. \n
- Diagnose mental health disorders using recognized assessment tools and methodologies. \n
- Develop individualized treatment plans centered on each patient's needs, including strategies addressing specific mental health challenges. \n
- Conduct individual and couple therapy sessions via telehealth, adapting therapeutic approaches based on client progress and feedback. \n
- Regularly evaluate and update treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of patient progress and changing needs. \n
- Collaborate with other professionals within the clinic and refer clients to specialists as necessary to address comprehensive care. \n
Your role will primarily focus on serving a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related disorders. You will engage with adults, couples, and families, utilizing a trauma-informed approach tailored to their unique circumstances. As an advocate for mental health, you will empower patients to develop coping mechanisms and resilience, fostering long-term positive outcomes.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Current and valid LMFT license in the state of Georgia. \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- A strong commitment to providing quality mental health care with ethical considerations in mind. \n

- Experience in substance abuse counseling and a thorough understanding of evidence-based practices for addiction and co-occurring disorders. \n
- Prior work in a community health setting is preferred. \n
- Demonstrated ability to utilize technology effectively for client communication and therapy sessions. \n
