General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and success of a multi-faceted foodservice operation. This role oversees daily operations, financial performance, client relationships, food quality, regulatory compliance, employee development, and guest satisfaction while ensuring alignment with company objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare, senior living, hospital, or K-12 dining services and demonstrate a strong understanding of nutrition, wellness initiatives, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Candidates with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN/RD) credential are strongly preferred.

Operational Leadership Direct all aspects of foodservice and hospitality operations. Ensure high standards of food quality, customer service, sanitation, and safety. Develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency and service excellence. Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvement plans as needed.

Client Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Respond quickly and professionally to client concerns and service opportunities.

Financial Management Manage unit budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Oversee labor planning, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control.

Compliance & Food Safety Maintain compliance with: State and local health department regulations HACCP standards Company safety and food safety programs Lead preparation for and response to regulatory inspections and audits.

What we're looking for: Required: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Foodservice Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2 years of progressive foodservice management experience. Experience leading large-scale foodservice operations. Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and P&L responsibility. ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain). Preferred Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credential. Experience in: Healthcare Systems Senior Living Communities K-12 School Nutrition Programs Experience with wellness initiatives, therapeutic diets, and food allergy management.

Compensation Range $75,000 - $80,000 plus bonus
