Campus Programming Advisor Posting Details Posting Number: 20260306S Position Title: Campus Programming Advisor Position Type: Staff Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: full‑time / 12‑months (average hours per week: 336‑Director - Student Involvement) Salary Grade: 12 (range $47,500‑56,900) Position Summary Campus Programming Advisor serves as the primary on‑site staff presence for the Campus Activities Team (CAT) and supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of more than 100 campus‑wide events each academic year. The role collaborates closely with the Assistant Director of Campus Programming and graduate assistants to enhance student engagement and community through late‑night, on‑campus programming for undergraduates across Villanova and Cabrini campuses. Key Benefits Mission‑driven organization focused on truth, unity, and love Recognized among the nation’s best colleges (U.S. News & World Report 2025 “Best Colleges” rankings) Holistic benefits package, generous paid time off, competitive retirement savings plan, flexible work options, wellness programs (including gym membership), professional development, tuition assistance, and more Duties and Responsibilities Support CAT events through training, management, and execution of all 100+ events per academic year Collaborate with the Assistant Director to assess current programming, identify evolving student needs, and develop, implement, and support initiatives that enhance student engagement and connection Create and administer trainings each semester, informed by data gathered through monthly programming assessments Ensure professional, graduate, and/or undergraduate student staffing support is in place for each CAT event Plan and coordinate a range of on‑campus and off‑campus programming, including weekly gatherings, entertainment, wellness activities, bus trips to Philadelphia, Broadway shows, national tours, and seasonal events (e.g., Boardwalk Bash, Winter Wonderland, CAT Bash) Provide leadership, staffing, and guidance for OSI programs such as Labor Day Weekend, Athletic Tailgates, Welcome Week, Family Weekend, Senior Breakfast, Halloween, Homecoming, and Commencement Week Handle logistical aspects: event leadership and staffing, equipment rental, facilities requests, transportation needs, event waivers, programming supplies, set‑up and teardown Consistently create, facilitate, and market social programming to enhance student engagement and community development Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Formal Education : Bachelor’s degree required Minimum Work Experience : 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in planning, implementing, and promoting programs for diverse student populations, including student leadership development, peer leadership, and student organization development (one year graduate experience counts) Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience managing budgets Significant weekend and evening hours required to support weekend activity programming Strong interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills Strong rapport with students, faculty, staff, and administrators Additional Requirements Driver’s license with clean driving record; overnight, early‑morning, or late‑night driving may be required Ability to lift 50 lbs with reasonable accommodations Appreciation for the mission and values of Catholic higher education Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Business, Communications, Counseling, or a related field Work Hours Expected to work into evenings and on weekends throughout the academic year to support event coordination Overnight, early‑morning, and/or late‑night driving may also be required Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order.
