Registered Nurse Preop/PACU Full-Time

Job Description Act as a patient advocate by providing continuity of care tailored to individual patient needs. Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members and support the facility’s philosophy, objectives, and goals. Assess the needs of adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients. This position guarantees full-time hours. Minimum Qualifications Degree from an accredited nursing program License as a registered nurse in the state where the facility is located Minimum of three years of work experience as a staff nurse Essential Functions Perform assessment and data collection in an ongoing, systematic manner, focusing on physiological, psychological, and cognitive status. Formulate a goal‑directed plan of care, prioritized and based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes. Implement care knowledgeably and consistently to achieve desired patient outcomes through nursing processes. Establish priorities of patient care based on essential needs and available resources. Operate efficiently in emergency situations following established protocols, remain calm, inform appropriate persons, and document events. Demonstrate applied knowledge in medical/surgical patient care, pain assessment, pharmaceutical and anesthetic actions, laboratory values, safety, legal issues, and all emergency equipment. Practice effective problem identification and resolution skills to support sound decision making. Perform documentation duties on the floor and in the patient record, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and conciseness. Work as part of a team to deliver patient care. Maintain CPR/ACLS certification. Attend mandatory in‑services and participate in staff meetings. Remain flexible, adaptive, and receptive to new ideas and approaches. Treat all patients equally, adopting the center’s Patient Rights policy. Review and carry out physician orders professionally. Show willingness to assist with other duties when asked.
