Hourly Non-Exempt Position

Position Title: BUS

Purpose: Ensures cleanliness of restaurant and bar. Responds to customer needs.

Essential Duties:

• Clear tables of dirty dishes & linens, wipe and reset table in a timely manner.
• Serve water/coffee/tea.
• Run food to customers from expo line to dining areas.

Other Duties:

• Communicate with patrons and staff conveying specials and concerns.
• Other functions assigned by management (i.e. take out linen, trash, stocking, checking restrooms, bus tubs, refill ice, wash glassware, assist other FOH staff members, etc.)

Essential Physical Requirements:

• 100% Walk and stand.
• 70% Reach, bend, stoop and wipe.
• 70 % Lift and carries loaded bus tubs, service trays, and glass racks of up to 40 pounds 8 or more times per shift, often lifting or carrying from floor level to above shoulder or head level.
• 50% Use of chemicals and cleaning supplies following safety regulations

Essential Training Requirements: Successful completion of hourly position validations, including reading training materials.

Qualifications: Must be 16 years old to remove alcohol or as state regulations dictate.
